To expand our knowledge and draw from the successful practices of the 'Urban Renewal' project, the Group's Comprehensive Management Department organized a visit to the DH3 project in Dinghao (Building A) on May 30, 2023. After several discussions and meticulous planning, 29 employees from various business sectors of the group participated in this communication activity. The employees exhibited great enthusiasm and eagerly registered for the activity. Despite the number of participants surpassing the initial limit, the Comprehensive Management Department adjusted the arrangements to ensure that all individuals who expressed interest could participate in the activity.
The 50-meter-tall sunlit atrium and refreshing interior design at Dinghao DH3 have left a lasting impression on all who visit. It's hard not to notice and remember the building's new look. The 2022 Beijing Urban Renewal White Paper has chosen the Dinghao Building renovation project as a prime example of urban renewal in action.
The event began punctually at 9:00 am. To start, Vice General Manager Yu from the DH3 project extended a warm welcome to everyone and gave a concise overview of the building's operational management and key information. Next, General Manager Wang explained the transformation process of the project, covering its business positioning, design concepts, construction challenges, and the use of technology to achieve "low-energy buildings." Operations Director Liu also shared the operational philosophy of the Dinghao DH3 project. The employees attentively listened and took notes during the presentations. After the presentations, everyone gained a better understanding of the Dinghao project and eagerly anticipated the upcoming visit.
In the peak period of electronic marketplaces, Dinghao Electronics Mall, Hailong Electronics City, and Zhongguancun e-World collectively formed Zhongguancun's "Golden Triangle". As the core industry positioning of Zhongguancun's central area continues to evolve, it has become imperative to renovate and update the existing buildings. The renovation of Dinghao Electronics Mall is a crucial "urban renewal" project in the core area of Zhongguancun, requiring not only structural and quality upgrades to align with changes in business positioning, but also substantial efforts in industrial optimization and service enhancement. The renovation and upgrade project for Building A of Dinghao Electronics Mall began in April 2019 with initial activities such as project design and lease clearance. The project was officially launched in October 2020, and the renovation was completed in October 2021.
During their visit, everyone was guided by project reception staff to various areas including the lobby, fire station, elevator hall, model rooms, rooftop garden, and rental spaces. They also visited high-tech companies such as Shengjing Technology, AInnovation, and Sinovation Ventures that have taken up residence in the building.
The visit provided everyone with a firsthand experience of the Dinghao project's high-quality construction, advanced building control equipment and facilities, meticulous property services, and vibrant high-tech atmosphere. They also gained a better understanding of the concept of “urban renewal”. Moving forward, the Comprehensive Management Department will offer more opportunities for staff to participate in communication and learning programs, encouraging everyone to approach their work with a broad perspective and innovative ideas that enhance the company's competitiveness!
