The Comprehensive Management Department of Zhaotai Group, together with the Labor Union, recently organized a two-day spring team-building exercise called "Unleash the Brilliance of Youth, Let the Competition Thrive" on May 19th-20th, 2023. The primary objective of this event was to boost team spirit and promote cross-departmental collaboration while strengthening the company's culture.
Embrace May's Warmth with Gratitude and Loved Ones
May's lush greenery and blooming flowers signify a season of youth, hard work, and gratitude. A lively encounter, a delightful assembly that unfolds precisely as planned. Two buses left from Zhaotai International Center and Fenghui Times Building, respectively, in the afternoon of May 19. After an hour-long journey, both buses arrived at Blues Manor Beijing, which was the destination for the team-building event. Among countless flowers, one can easily unwind and re-establish their connection with the natural world.
Vice President Shao and Vice President Du, representing the executives of the Group Engineering Management Center and Comprehensive Management Center respectively, delivered inspiring speeches that uplifted employee morale and instilled confidence in everyone present. The enthusiastic applause that followed marked the beginning of the team-building exercise.
Just as Young Students at the Peak of Their Youth
The theme of the team-building exercise was "Unleash the Brilliance of Youth, Let the Competition Thrive" and the people of Zhaotai embarked on a nostalgic journey in celebration of youth. All individuals dressed in school uniforms and put on red scarves, referring to each other as classmates, revisiting their vibrant school days. With the coach's guidance, employees from different departments and sectors of the group quickly broke the ice through interactive games and warm-up dances. Six classes were formed through creative grouping, each consisting of a combination of individuals from different age groups, including those born in the 1970s to the 1990s, who came together as a team. Class committee members, which included a captain, a vice-captain, and a squad leader were elected for each class. For many students, being elected as a captain fulfilled their childhood dreams. In addition, each class created a unique team name and designed a team flag. They even came up with signature team poses and made appearances together. The effective teamwork and cooperation among the students quickly led to harmonization and enhanced synergy within each team.
To bring back the wonderful memories and invoke the collective spirit of the 70s, 80s, and 90s generations, this team-building event has carefully organized a vibrant youth dance party titled "Joyful Show Stage: Karaoke Forever". After a brief yet intense rehearsal, each class took the stage with dazzling grace, showcasing their impressive vocal talents and kicking off the performance in style. Each class delivered a passionate performance of classic songs, including "The Hottest Ethnic Trend", "Childhood," "Silly Boy," "I Believe," "Youth," "The Classmate Beside Me," and other iconic tunes. The performances were accompanied by dances and witty skits, earning continuous applause and cheers from the audience. It did not only bring back cherished memories but also sparked a strong emotional resonance among everyone present. When the report-back performance was over, we also played a game of "Pass the parcel" where students who received the parcel performed an impromptu singing. Everyone was incredibly talented. As the familiar and melodious songs continued to play, the atmosphere of the youth song and dance party gradually built up to a thrilling peak. Students eagerly took turns performing on stage during the freestyle singing segment. Revived classic chart-topping songs brought back nostalgic memories for those born in the 70s, 80s, and 90s, while also providing an opportunity for Zhaotai Group employees to display their spirit and demeanor. As it turns out, there are plenty of hidden talents and skilled individuals within our team.

The second day of the team-building exercise began with the classic "broadcast exercises". As everyone performed the movements from memory, red scarves fluttered in the wind and brought back nostalgic memories of youth. During team-building exercises, everyone took classes in Chinese, math, physical education, calligraphy, and music. These classes were not only innovative but also tested everyone's knowledge, teamwork, organization skills, and creativity. In music class, everyone made their own box drums and learned how to play them using various techniques. With the help of the arts representative, they performed in public and revealed a side of themselves that was different from their professional persona. During the activities, members from each class worked collaboratively with unity, harnessing the power of the team and exhibiting boundless determination. After several competitions and showcases, each class achieved impressive results. Based on the scores of all six classes, the champion class was announced, and the group's leaders awarded them with trophies and certificates. The mid-level managers of the group presented their summaries of the activities, and the team-building event ended successfully with rounds of applause.
This activity brought employees closer together, improved their relationships and collaboration, and strengthened team spirit. In the future, it is anticipated that everyone will persist in cooperating and collaborating within their roles, thereby achieving greater success in accomplishing the diverse tasks of the team.
